About Us
Once upon 17 years ago, Nick and Rae met at Yankee Hill Country Club when Rae got her first Pastry Chef gig and Nick was current Food and Beverage Director. It was literally love at first sight and our story began! Anthony joined us soon after that, and Elizabeth followed seven years later. In the meantime we continued our culinary careers through various restaurants/country clubs, notably both working with Le Quartier Baking Company for about 10 years. We moved to our little acreage just before Anthony started Kindergarten in Waverly. When we decided it was time to do our own thing we started looking at options to open in Waverly. Joni’s had been a community staple for around 20 years, but Joni herself was ready to retire. We took over in 2017 and the rest is history! We’ve learned a lot over these years through challenges and celebrations. We’ve learned that our faith, family, and community support are absolutely essential to our success. We’re so incredibly blessed by our customers and can’t wait to see where this journey takes us!
